DMX Driven to Jail

Time for DMX to seriously consider carpooling.

The hardcore rapper faces up to 60 days behind bars after pleading guilty Tuesday to violating the terms of his sentence in a 2004 case where he plowed his SUV through a security gate at New York’s JFK Airport while high on Valium and then claimed to be an undercover federal agent.

X initially pleaded guilty last December to a string of charges related to the JFK episode. He was sentenced to a conditional discharge meaning any transgressions within a year could land him in jail and ordered to hand over his 1998 Ford Expedition.

But less than two weeks later, the Ruff Ryder was busted for doing 104 mph in a 65 mph zone near his Westchester County home. Then, in April, he rammed his Dodge Magnum into a woman’s stationary car, causing a chain reaction that also ensnared an unmarked police car.

Making matters worse, fake id maker online the “It’s On” rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, missed a court date last month.

On Tuesday, he appeared in Queens Criminal Court and pleaded guilty to two counts of driving with a suspended license, which is punishable by two months in jail, possibly Riker’s Island. Judge Dorothy Chin Brandt gave him three weeks to get his house in order before reporting back to court for his official sentencing.

“Under the circumstances, this was the best we could possibly hope for,” X’s attorney, Murray Richman, told MTV Tuesday.

Of course, that might be easier said than done. As his handlers tried to usher DMX out of the courthouse without incident, the rapper was baited by a tabloid reporter who asked if the X man was looking forward to jail.

“Stupid ass motherf ker,” the 34 year old rapper reportedly said as he was restrained by his lawyer, publicist and wife. “Going to crack his f king head in.”

DMX’s checkered driving record has led to several run ins with the law.

Back in 1999, Simmons was snagged in his native Yonkers for allegedly roughing up a passing motorist who DMX claimed attacked his missus. And in 2002, fake id maker online just after Christmas, the Cradle 2 the Grave thespian was caught by New York cops after exhibiting some poor driving skills and carrying a fake ID.
